Concept Mapf

For my concept map I decided to focus on the ocean (having been previously a Marine Biology major) and the different descriptive aspects of it. Having finally acquired art supplies for this assignment I tried to make it as colorful as possible while not making any one area too similar. I used every color except black, brown, or grey, to not take away from the visual appeal. Obviously I had the beginning ocean blue. Although I am not sure if I did this exactly as we were instructed. Either way it was fun to go through the thought process when brainstorming and also putting my thoughts down in a visual representation.

Mind Map

For my first sketch I tried to symbolize what a hero was (or at least a very brave individual) and also where they came from. I started off with a halo (symbolizing good or purity) along with a hand reaching sort of like in a movie when someone is about to fall and they say "take my hand" and at least attempt to save them. My second image I drew a planet, similar to earth but not earth but also terrestrial and inhabitable because everyone has to come from somewhere.

After posting this i realized that we were only supposed to have two images which I must have missed when reading the assignment instructions. Also worthy of note I only had grey colored pencils for this map at that point which is why my map wasn't as colorful as I would have liked
